A minimum training period of 5 days is required.  Training at the Eagan, MN corporate office is included in the franchise fee.  Optional training at your location at $200 per day, plus travel expenses.  Training will be completed by an experienced Jet-Black franchise development team member.

The Jet-Black franchise development team will supply you with absolutely everything needed to efficiently operate your new Jet-Black franchise.  Jet-Black’s custom sealcoating trailer is fully equipped for the complete 7-step sealcoating process.  The trailer is designed to conveniently hold all necessary tools and equipment; including grass edger, power blower, and hot crack fill box.  It can be pulled by any full size pick-up truck.  You will also be provided with Jet-Black clothing, promotional pieces, personalized banner tape, work boxes, office materials, truck decals, estimating tools, and bulk storage tank with pump/agitation system.  The corporate maintained web-site and custom software are continually modified and upgraded.

Optional equipment includes Jet-Black’s, fully equipped, custom hot mix dump trailer for hot asphalt repair ($12,000); commercial spray rig for commercial focussed franchises ($15,000 - $50,000); and large bulk storage tanks for high volume needs ($10,000 - 20,000).  These options are not necessary for a successful Jet-Black franchise, and can be added at a later date if desired.

The Jet-Black Sales, Tracking, and Reporting Software (STARS) is a custom designed program developed and continually refined by Jet-Black founder Andy Hoiland.  It was specifically designed to fit the idiosyncrasies of the Jet-Black business.  The software is server based, so you never need to worry about timely backing up of files or the nightmare of a crashed computer and lost data.   While being multi-faceted, it is simple and easy to learn; and provides you with the necessary and pertinent information needed to run your Jet-Black® business.  Key features include:
