Why
Sealcoat?
Sealcoating with Jet-Black's "Black
gold" sealer helps protect against the
damaging effects of the sun, from chemical
attack by petroleum products and road
deicer, and from water penetration,
which can cause the pavement to crack
and fail. Sealcoating can significantly
prolong the life of your driveway or
parking lot while keeping it look new.

Where
We Started
In August of 1987 our parents, who lived in
Bloomington Minnesota, had a paving company
sealcoat their driveway. When the job was finished,
we were not at all impressed. The cracks in
the driveway hadn't been filled, oil spots were
bleeding through, and footprints from the sealer
were on the
grass and concrete sidewalk. We thought
we could do it better - much better!
The Birth of Jet Black®
So, we set our plan in motion, with customer
satisfaction as our driving focus. On May 12th,
1988, we founded Jet-Black® Sealcoating
& Repair.
